Established in 1984, Platt Packaging Limited is a private family-owned company, engaged in the packing and repacking of goods and the production of thermoformings for sale mainly in retail outlets. Our management team has over 100 years’ combined experience in the packaging industry.
Based in Surrey until 1992, we re-located to Swindon in Wiltshire, and then in 2001, we opened our thermoforming and specialist packing departments in a spacious purpose-built factory in the Ebbw Vale, Blaenau Gwent. In 2018 we centralised all our packaging operations in our Rhymney facility in order to improve efficiency and service. In 2021 we moved to our current premises in Tredegar.
The company’s flexibility is largely due to our dedicated and well-trained teams, which give us the capability of meeting our customers varied demands and deadlines.
Our packaging services include Blister Sealing, shrink-wrapping (Up to 3m in length), Skin packing, hand assembly, labelling, bagging and custom packaging.
Our thermoforming division specialises in the manufacture of blisters, blister edge bending, trays, panels, clams and bespoke packaging – all to ISO standard, so you can be sure we’re always doing our very best for you.
